It has been raining cats and dogs for most of the day and none of us have been energetic or productive. I got my wish for sitting and drinking tea all day. Oh yes, I
did spend time with my Jesus. So soothing it was, crossing each stitch, one by one. What was that saying – A stitch in time saves nine? I am not sure if time was saved or wasted. But here we are in the eve of the day, sipping wine. I am tap, tapping out my words. Nothing profound, of course. I am a bit out of love for the seriousness of life today. Maybe it is the rain. Maybe it is because I am just tired of being so serious and profound. Let’s just forget about goals and striving. Lets stop about setting up steps and pushing forward. Let’s stop time and just play. What do you say?
Hi – stopping by again from the Facebook UBC group! Oh goodness, I used to LOVE x-stitching (is that counted x-stitch?), but I’ve had problems doing it recently due to poor vision and arthritis in my right thumb! 😦
Love your dog video – they sure looked like they were having fun! Thanks for sharing! 🙂
Thanks Karen. Yes, it is counted cross stitch. I’ve been working on it for a few years! I have arthritis in my hands also but they’re ok after warmed up in the morning.
Loved your Jesus! I admire people who patiently make such art pieces and embroider.
You’re right, there are some days you just don’t want to be profound and serious. Good light hardheartedness always is a welcome change 🙂
Sorry I meant *lightheartedness….damn there goes my spell check making blunders again 😉
It happens. 🙂
Thank you! Needlework is soothing and relaxing.
Your embroidery is amazing!
It is raining heavily where I live today. I am going to stay indoors all day. doing something I enjoy.
Your embroidery is gorgeous! And those dogs just cracked me up!
