October 10th and I’m still here for day 10 of the Ultimate Blog Challenge. It is Thanksgiving weekend here in Canada. I have much to be thankful for. I have a roof over my head, clothing to keep me warm and plenty in the larder. I have my health. I have purpose. Everything else is just extra.

The heat of summer has gone. The leaves have turned to gold and are dropping. The earth is preparing for its slumber. The sky is grey but the world is still full of colour. And I am happy and content.
