WORDLESS WEDNESDAY

It’s wordless Wednesday and day 17 of the Ultimate Blog Challenge. I can’t be completely wordless but I can be less wordy. Here are a few photographs of how we took down our 2 spruce trees to make room for our greenhouse. We had lost Sheba in May 2020. We were mourning our loss and it stirred us into action. I planted the spruce trees as saplings. I did not hesitate with the decision of removing them for a greenhouse. However, after, I did mourn their loss as well. It is only natural. They were my babies as well.

Perhaps for next Wordless Wednesday I will post photos of the building of the greenhouse.

  1. I’m so sorry to hear about Sheba, Lily. I’m sure you gave her a great life while she was here. I can’t wait to hear/see the greenhouse progress.

  2. Lily, I am so sorry for the loss of your Sheba. I was afraid my 2 1/2 floor-high pine tree might not survive this last summer. But it did, with trimming and double watering. Trees have energy effects as well as environmental effects. Would you ever think of planting a new tree or two? Also, please show us the building of the greenhouse. ❀

  3. This greenhouse keeps you busy and brings you joy! I remember seeing all your posts about harvesting veggies, so that’s a good thing.
I totally understand that Sheba was your baby. I’m sure she’s happily running around and playing in doggy heaven πŸ™‚

  4. Sometimes even trees become “members” of our family. We had a large pine that was damaged from one of the hurricanes a few years back and they way it was leaning was almost like it was waiting to fall. We opted to have it cut down to protect ours and our neighbor’s house. Now a beautiful berry tree of some sort started growing and the birds love it. I love your greenhouse and think of all the food you produce!

  5. I’m so sorry for your loss of Sheba and the tress were so pretty but I can understand having to remove them for something new. Which would have been sad. Living in our Townhome which I love but I miss our Trailer and all of our trees we had in our yard.
